Valentia Island has many treasures, and Bray Head is one of them! Located to the south-west of Valentia, not to be confused with Bray Head in County Wicklow, this headland offers superb walking trails, including a perfectly preserved watchtower. It dates back to the Napoleonic era, and overlooks the rest of the island!

This tower enabled the island’s 2,200 inhabitants to keep an eye on the Atlantic and its ships. This exceptional viewpoint is one of the most beautiful on Valentia Island!

Don’t hesitate to put on your walking shoes: a signposted path to the left of the tower takes you along the coastline! Fabulous landscapes are on the agenda!
