The Kerry Way is a hiking trail located in County Kerry, Ireland. The 214-kilometre route offers walkers a loop through the beauty of the Ring of Kerry. It’s a great program that requires stamina, time and the right equipment!

The Kerry Way

A tour between wild coasts and mountains

The Kerry Way requires around 9 days’ walking to complete. It begins and ends in Killarney, the region’s focal point, where you can enter the heart of Killarney National Park as a prelude to your tour.

Equipped with a tent and a good backpack, you can discover the wonders of the region, passing through Kenmare, Sneem, Waterville and Dingle. Colorful, welcoming villages, well-stocked with bed and breakfasts and hotels for overnight stays.

The Kerry Way circuit essentially follows the Irish coastline, and will blow you away with its wild beauty and alternating shades of green and blue. The trails are pleasant to follow, and the scenery magnificent!

This tour is essentially for good, hardy walkers with a real passion for beautiful landscapes. A group hike is much more fun and safer, and allows you to enjoy some wonderful moments together!

When it comes to bivouacs, you’ll be spoilt for choice, from campsites and local B&Bs to small restaurants and pubs! Spend 9 incredible days in the simplicity and intensity of the Irish countryside!
