Young people in Ireland

Smart travel
L'océan en Irlande - Domaine public

Are you a young person or a student looking to explore the beauty of Ireland? Here are a few tips to help you benefit from discounted rates, or find out where to study in Ireland without breaking the bank!

Student cards

The discount pass!

Most tourist attractions in Ireland and Northern Ireland offer special rates for students and young people under 25. These rates are available on presentation of your student card, and can be applied to accommodation bookings (particularly for youth hostels). So don’t hesitate to show off this precious pass before making a reservation.

This card must be valid, and can be applied if you are a foreign student.

Car rental

Terms and conditions…

Being young is not all good news, and some car rental companies are particularly demanding when it comes to the requirements for renting a vehicle. In most cases, they require you to have held your license for more than 5 years, and to be over 22 years of age.

Of course, these conditions may vary from one rental company to another, and we invite you to contact them for more information.
