Emerald Park

Irish theme parks
Vue sur le Emerald Park (anciennement Tayto Park)

Formerly known as Tayto Park, Emerald Park is an amusement park located in County Meath, Ireland. The latter is a theme park founded by the Tayto group, Ireland’s leading specialist in flavored potato chips (in Ireland, they’re a must-have, and it’s estimated that Irish people consume at least one individual packet a day!) This park, dedicated to the whole family, has just one aim: to offer you sensational attractions, suitable for the whole family! Are you ready? Tayto Park will provide you with great moments of laughter and adrenaline!

Tayto Park and its Viking attraction

Tayto Park and its Viking attraction

The Tayto giant is no joke: when the idea came to them to build an amusement park, they decided to rival the biggest in the business!

That’s why the park is packed with attractions, each one crazier than the next! Roller coasters, merry-go-rounds, a giant climbing wall (called the Climbing Fall), slides, a Viking attraction, a centrifuge, a cinema with a 5D experience… and so on. The possibilities are endless, and the park is big enough for a full day’s enjoyment!

Now bought out, the park has since changed its name to Emerald Park. Only the name has changed: the venue promises the same fun and attractions, with just a few exceptions!

The park is magnificent and modern, colorful, clean and constantly multiplying references to Irish history, mythology, the Viking Invasions…etc. It’s a fun way to discover Irish history while enjoying some superb attractions!

And we have to admit it: Emerald Park really plays on the “Irish craic”. It’s all about having fun, recapturing the spirit of childhood, and sharing new experiences as a family.

Please note that some attractions are restricted to people of a certain height. But don’t worry, there’s plenty of choice for children’s activities too… Starting with a zoo!

You’ll be able to admire incredible species such as tigers, leopards, a mountain lion, monkeys, macaques, tropical birds, these African pygmy goats…etc. The zoo is magnificent and well-maintained, and features a number of species currently on the brink of extinction.

The park also offers on-site restaurants. The food is pretty good and will appeal to the whole family. All at reasonable prices (around ten euros per person).

For the kids, it’s worth noting that Tayto mascots can be seen throughout the day. These are people dressed up as giant potato chips, bearing the brand’s effigy. On-site photo opportunities!

Admission can cost up to almost 40 euros for unlimited access to the attractions. Book online to avoid queues and enjoy Emerald Park faster!
