A creature worthy of Loch Ness in Ireland!
Le monstre du Loch Ness en Irlande

The video has already made the rounds on the Web: Irish students making a film for a school project are said to have spotted a sea monster in the waters off Ireland’s River Foyle. Visible in a few frames of their video, we see a creature breaking through the water in rapid progression, then disappearing completely underwater.

Although the images are of poor quality, the “beast” immediately brought to mind the Loch Ness Monster, the legendary creature that is said to have haunted the Scottish lake for centuries. “It seems we have our own Loch Ness monster.”commented Conall Melarkey, one of the students present at the event, who was very surprised by the experience.

The video naturally divides researchers and scientists on the subject. While some are already suspecting a hoax, others have come forward to suggest that the monster is more likely to be a simple whale, or a large fish… Whatever the truth of the matter, the debate continues to arouse curiosity!

What’s up? Who said Ireland had less charm than Scotland?
