If you’re passing through Kinvara, Fox’s is one of the best places to stop for a bite to eat. The establishment presents itself as a pizzeria, but offers a much more extensive menu than that. The program includes Italian and Irish cuisine!

Let’s face it, if you’re looking for a traditional Irish breakfast or a good pizza for a change from the local fare then you’ve come to the right place. Although the restaurant is located in the center of town, away from the port, it offers a warm welcome and a cosy decor.

A la carte, there’s plenty to choose from. Starting with our Irish breakfast, scones, buttermilk pancakes and fruit and honey porridge.

Fox’s also offers a wide range of pizzas (from €12 to €15 on average), as well as more Irish cuisine… On the menu: smoked salmon, seafood chowder (a traditional fish soup), crab cakes, mussels from Galway Bay, bangers and mash… etc.

The menu sometimes loses itself in other influences, with Caesar salads, fish tacos or Thai chicken… without really knowing why.

But in any case, the dishes are well executed, generous and homemade. We appreciate their sense of welcome and the kindness of the owners, who take great care to ensure you have a good time.

Expect to pay at least €30/€35 for a meal (excluding breakfast).
