An improvised concert of traditional Irish music… in the middle of a Ryanair flight!
A Ryanair flight turned into an impromptu Irish music concert!

We want moments like this every day. A Ryanair flight from Belfast to Lanzarote was plunged into a festive atmosphere, when an Irishman decided to improvise a concert of traditional Irish music. A memorable moment captured by one of the passengers!

100% Irish atmosphere on a Ryanair flight

Sean Magee, an Irish traveler, had the good idea of reserving a seat for himself and a second one for his violin. Once in the air, he would have taken it out of its case to perform the song: “Las Vegas in the Hills of Donegal” by the band Goats Don’t Shave.

Immediately, smartphones began to capture the moment. Passengers broke into song and applause, creating a pub-like atmosphere on the plane!
A great moment of craic, to be admired in the video below!
