Who said the Irish lacked a sense of humor? An Irishman by the name of Shay Bradley managed the feat of making the relatives who came to his own funeral laugh, thanks to the broadcast of a recording of his voice, taken directly from his coffin.
The recording, made a year before his death, and triggered on the day of his funeral, came as a surprise to those who attended the ceremony. The coffin seems to come alive: a voice can be heard, as well as knocks on the wood… giving the impression that the man was locked in by mistake!
– Hello? Hello? Anybody home? Let me out of here!
An opportunity for Shay Bradley to make her loved ones laugh one last time, despite the sadness caused by her death.
The recording is said to have been triggered by a close friend, an accomplice to the joke.
– It’s dark in here, get me out! But… I can hear the priest. Are you there?
A rather unusual latest joke, which is creating quite a buzz on the web. According to the deceased’s wife, Anne Bradley, Shay Bradley “was a prankster who wanted to leave his family with laughter, not tears”. A magnificent act, full of humor and love, that has not failed to touch the web!
