Not far from Dublinthe Malahide Castle has decided to personalize the experience for its visitors, offering a tour of the château every Saturday, ending with an exceptional tasting of Irish whiskey ! A unique opportunity for visitors to delve into the castle’s history, explore its private rooms, and then enjoy a unique tasting of local whiskeys!

An adventure full of charm and authenticity!

If you too love old castles steeped in history, as well as Irish gastronomic culture, then we can’t recommend Malahide Castle enough!

This summer, the latter is offering you the chance to end your visit to the château on a high note, with a comfortable seat in a room designed for discovering the country’s most emblematic beverages. The tasting, led by the founders of Whiskey Island, is divided into 5 phases.

Guests are then invited to taste and compare a premium Irish craft whisky with a Scotch and an American whisky. The tasting is punctuated by anecdotes and fascinating information on the history of Irish whiskey.

The good-natured atmosphere is perfect for whiskey lovers wishing to deepen their knowledge of the subject.

Everything is done to immerse you in an authentic, 100% Irish setting! Tasting glasses, serving mats, and a bartender who enjoys serving drinks in style!

If you’re interested, tickets cost €35 per person. They must be collected from the reception center at least ten minutes before the time of the visit.

Ticket holders must be over 18. Please note that photo identification may be required when collecting tickets.
