Christmas is coming, and the whole of Ireland is already celebrating! To mark the occasion, an Irish radio station will be launched this Thursday, November 28… And its concept is original, to say the least!

This one plans to stream Christmas songs… until December 27, 2019!

From its name,“Christmas FM” is an Irish radio station determined to make you love the festive season. Here’s to songs full of magic, verses about the Christmas tree, Santa Claus and roasting chestnuts… On this radio station, you can’t wait to be won over by the festive, musical tunes of Christmas!

The radio station plans to broadcast its special programming until the end of the 2019 holiday season. The line-up includes Irish and international classics!

This is not the first time the radio station has launched this operation. Christmas FM has been around since 2008, and every year it organizes the same battle plan: to flood Ireland with its Christmas magic. The icing on the cake: it’s for a good cause. Each year, the radio station chooses a charity and strives to raise as much money as possible during the holiday season.

And the concept works surprisingly well: in 10 years, Christmas FM has raised over a million euros!

It’s a great way to make everyone happy: Christmas lovers and those in need alike.

Christmas FM officially goes live tomorrow at 1pm, and will broadcast non-stop until December 27. Listeners across the country should be able to pick up the radio on local airwaves. Don’t panic if you’re not in Ireland: you can listen to their live programming on their website, or via their smartphone app!
