In Ireland, the art of living is all about conviviality, joy and sharing!

Craic is a typically Irish term (of Gaelic origin), used to describe something “fun”, pleasant and enjoyable. Difficult to translate, this term is used regularly by the Irish population, constantly on the lookout for the “right moment”.

The Craic

In constant search of fun

Craic is a predominant notion in Irish culture. Irish people are looking for a certain quality of life in their daily lives that can co-exist with their work and social obligations, and are therefore looking to spend as many enjoyable moments as possible within their daily lives.

This is commonly known as “craic”.

For example, the Irish like to look for the “perfect Craic” when they’re in a Pub, with friends, a pint in hand… Or when they’re out and about, hiking with friends or family…

It’s a good time, a moment of relaxation that you should make the most of, and that lets you enjoy life to the full!

Craic, for example, is a term that crops up regularly, reflecting the Irish population’s need to detach themselves from the constraints of everyday life and escape for a while, through an activity that relaxes and delights them.
