An advert has just been published and is sure to create a buzz: we’re looking for an Irish Coffee tester! This very serious announcement has just been published by a famous travel website (Reservations.com).
And they are very precise about their expectations. What profile are you looking for? An Irish coffee lover, not afraid of new experiences… From December onwards, the latter will be tasting this famous Irish cocktail on the streets of New York, with one and only objective in mind: to find the establishment serving the best Irish coffee in the American city!
Specifically, the job will involve visiting 8 restaurants and bars in New York City, between December 10 and 17, 2019. The future employee will then have to order an Irish coffee, taste it and write a 300-word minimum review for each one, noting the quality of the establishment, its atmosphere, its decor, its service… etc.
We’ll then have to put together a ranking of these 8 Irish coffees, to determine the best in New York!
The tester will receive $500 for food and drink, plus a $1,500 travel and writing allowance, for a total of $2,000. His final reviews will also be published on Reservations.com.
