Irish Mist is undoubtedly one of the most famous Irish whiskey liqueurs! It’s impossible to visit Ireland without discovering its aromas of whiskeys, honey and spices!

Taste the Irish Mist

A honeyed whiskey whose origins date back to the Middle Ages!

Did you know? Irish Mist has been around for over 1,000 years! Irish Mist has its origins in heather wine, an ancestral spirit served to Irish chieftains in the Middle Ages!

Irish Mist is nothing more or less than a derivative of heather wine: the recipe is said to have been passed down from century to century, before being all but forgotten in the 1690s.

The recipe was not found until 1940, and was reproduced by Desmond E Williams, then founder and owner of the Tullamore whiskey distillery. Since then, the Irish Mist has been restored to its former glory, and is now one of the most popular digestifs served in Irish pubs!

Its sweet, honeyed roundness is well balanced by spices.
