A study by Money.co.uk has just revealed that Dublin is one of the most affordable destinations for luxury holidays. Ranked 10th (compared with Bangkok, Thailand, at the top), Dublin stands out for its attractive 5-star hotels, gourmet restaurants and luxury services.
While Dublin is often criticized as an increasingly expensive city, it is now one of the most attractive cities for luxury stays…
The study, conducted by Money.co.uk, looked at specific factors to determine the average cost for each city. They studied a variety of elements, such as the costs of five-star hotels, spa hotels, Michelin-starred meals and luxury car rental rates.
All these criteria are used to determine a score out of 10, which is then used to establish a ranking.
And after deliberation, Dublin achieved a score of 6.04/10! A respectable score, which puts the Irish capital in 10th place.
And the conclusions are interesting. According to the study, the average cost of a Michelin-starred meal in Dublin is €119 per person, while the average cost of a night in a five-star hotel is €586.
The study also revealed that the average cost of a luxury car rental per day in Dublin was €217… And that the average price of a night in a spa hotel was €309.
Rates that make Dublin one of the world’s most attractive cities for luxury services.
