Did you know? Ireland hosts one of Europe’s scariest Halloween events! Yes, you read that right. It’s Farmaphobia, a much-anticipated event every year, celebrating Halloween (or Samain), a festival of Irish origin! The must-attend event for all thrill-seekers visiting Ireland in October!
Farmaphobia
Farmaphobia was born of the wild imagination of its creators, who transformed a farm into a horror theme park, offering a new way to celebrate Halloween.
The event takes place at Causey Farm, in County Meath, not far from Dublin. Since its launch, it has become one of the most popular Halloween experiences in Ireland!
Prepare to be terrified, surprised and fascinated. Farmaphobia features several themed zones, from haunted corn mazes to creepy houses of horror. The actors are very convincing in their roles as nightmarish creatures, and the sets are of exceptional quality. It’s an immersive experience that plays with your deepest fears, in a safe environment, of course.
Expect to see 5 haunts of horror, spread over almost 40 hectares! Each one has its own theme, and will offer you its share of surprises and scary moments!
Don’t miss a stroll through the “Uncaged a Peril Pernitentiary”, a sort of prison frequented by psychopathic serial killers whose only aim is to catch you and scare the living daylights out of you!
And don’t miss the Cult lair, where you’ll get lost in a forest populated by lost and scary children. If you can see them through the trees, it’s already too late! Prepare to be sacrificed!
Ah, the classic cornfield… Who hasn’t shuddered at the sight of a horror film in which the poor hero tries to flee across cultures with no assurance of escape?
This is what awaits you with “Cornered”. In the park’s pitch, the Baxters and McCricks would be characters vying for ownership of a cornfield. But there was one thing they hated more than any other: strangers in their fields!
So get ready to run: the two men will do anything to eliminate you… convinced that fresh blood is the best fertilizer for their corn!
If you’re afraid of clowns, avoid this area of the park altogether! It’s a city populated entirely by his creepy-smiling creatures! A sort of remake of “Ça”, the area is haunted by creatures with sinister laughter, evil eyes and bloody appetites!
Beware: you may never get out!
And don’t miss the Farmaphobia Morgue… A morgue like no other, populated by hungry zombies addicted to human flesh! Quickly, make your way out of the way of these hellish creatures!
Although the experience is intense, Farmaphobia is suitable for a wide audience. Teens and adults alike will enjoy the thrills and nervous laughter. However, due to its frightening nature, it is not generally recommended for young children.
