Leopardstown Christmas Festival

Un cavalier et son cheval à Leopardstown - Florian Christoph - cc

Every year, it’s the same tradition: from December 26th to 29th, Dubliners flock to Leopardstown Racecourse to celebrate St Stephen’s Day, a public holiday dedicated to the Patron Saint of horses.

For the occasion, the racecourse hosts one of Ireland’s biggest horse racing events, where families come together to cheer on their favorite teams!

In a lively and family-friendly atmosphere, you can enjoy the races at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival. It’s a fantastic way for the Irish to extend the Christmas spirit with a festive event full of thrilling moments! A wonderful tradition to experience at least once if you’re lucky enough to spend Christmas in Ireland!
