Northern Ireland is currently riding high on the release of the brand new season of the hit series “The Iron Throne” (Game of Thrones). Proud to be one of the main countries chosen for its filming locations, Northern Ireland has decided to mark the occasion by offering a new stamp for sale for each episode.
These stamps, validated by Royal Mail, the local postal service, will feature the various coats of arms of the clans in the series. The first 2 models already released feature the Stark family crest, as well as the flayed and crucified man, emblematic of House Bolton.
These stamps are produced in limited editions, which is why fans of the series are now flocking to Northern Ireland post offices to buy these precious collectors’ items!
The 10 collectible stamps will be released progressively as the episodes of season 6 are released. All you have to do is try your luck and pick up one of these collector’s stamps!
