Guinness World Records: sheep in Ireland set the record for the largest number of sheep singing in harmony!
Des moutons chantant en chœur en Irlande

Ireland has just achieved a rather unusual record. A flock of sheep in County Kerry (western Ireland) has set a world record for the largest number of sheep singing in harmony. Guinness World Records organizers were on hand to witness this incredible spectacle… and believe us, it was well worth the detour!

Sheep trained for two years to achieve this feat!

Up to 80 sheep sing along!

The scene had the merit of being amusing. A flock of 80 sheep, accompanied by a local shepherd, gathered in a field and began singing in harmony. At first it was a bit cacophonous, but eventually they found their rhythm and voice, singing a beautiful melody.

The sheep flock was trained by professionals who worked hard for two years to train the sheep.

We had to teach the sheep to sing in harmony and synchronize. said the local shepherd. The hardest part was asking them to articulate clearly.

The sheep’s performance was assessed by Guinness World Records judges and established as a new world record. The organizers said the record was “impressive” and that they were delighted to have seen it in person.

The local shepherd declared:

I’m proud of my sheep. They’ve worked hard for it, and it’s a great achievement for them and for County Kerry.

Interestingly, the sheep were also rewarded for their performance. The price? A bag of fresh hay and some four-leaf clover for each of them.

So if you’re looking for something fun and different to see on your next trip to Ireland, be sure to head to County Kerry to listen to the sheep sing in harmony. We promise it’ll be worth your while!

To attend, here’s the shepherd’s address: 1 rue du Poisson d’Avril, Co. Kerry, Ireland.
