Ireland – A strange Celtic cross appears over a forest
The image caused a sensation, and has been doing the rounds of the world ever since! An airplane flying over the village of Killea in County Donegal, Ireland, made a very strange discovery while flying over the surrounding forest. A Celtic cross design was indeed discovered: trees, lighter green in color, seeming to form a perfect geometry, reminiscent of Irish Celtic crosses.

The image created an incredible buzz. One theory followed another, and the media pounced on the subject to try and explain this almost “mystical” phenomenon (let’s not forget that Ireland is a country particularly attached to the Catholic religion).

However, the mystery has finally been solved. Forget the far-fetched theories: this was in fact the achievement of one man, Liam Emmery, now deceased. The latter would then have attempted the feat of planting trees with more contrasting foliage, in order to later obtain a shape similar to that of a Celtic cross.

A true horticultural feat, which the latter didn’t have time to admire.

In any case, the mystery is solved!
