Airbnb has just published a dream ad. The concept is simple: how about renting an Irish island just for you and your loved ones?
The island lies off the west coast of Ireland, opposite the town of Westport (Co. Mayo). Known as “Collanmore Island”, this private island has everything you need to fall in love!
On the program: private beach with water sports (surfing, paddle, fishing… etc.), open-air bar… not to mention the accommodation itself, which can accommodate up to 22 people… and its whirlpool bath or hammam! Everything here exudes comfort and good taste… with a hint of luxury!

In short, a dream location, with typical Irish charm, that could well inspire travellers! Wedding plans, special anniversaries, stag or hen parties… There’s never a better time to plan a trip there! (Including a special “end of pandemic” party, why not?!)
The ad is available on the Airbnb website. Make sure you book as soon as possible, as the island is extremely popular and places are expensive. It has to be said that at €3,500 for 2 adults, it’s a price to think about… But you only have one life!
