Ireland: Smithwick’s offers a free pint of its beer… if you order it wearing red socks!
Une Smithwick's Red Ale

The famous Irish beer brand “Smithwick’s” is launching a huge promotional campaign that could appeal to fans of Irish hops! From October 24th to 27th, the brewery is offering a free pint to any customer who orders between 6pm and 8pm and wears a pair of red socks!

Many Irish pubs across Ireland are part of the operation. Specifically, this offer is valid in 9 counties, but beware… Only Les irish pubs in the Dublin 2 area are ending this promotion earlier than the others, this Saturday.

The operation is to celebrate the arrival of the weekend. Smithwick’s is counting on this to help publicize its Red Ale, a reddish-red beer with fruity accents. In fact, it’s this pint that will be offered to you and not another (logical).
