After looking at American distilleries, Van Damme, a great whisky enthusiast, is said to have finally set his sights on an Irish distillery. Ireland, the cradle of whisky, is considered THE land of premium malt, offering numerous investment opportunities.
Jean-Claude Van Damme was also informed by one of his advisors of an exceptional opportunity on the Emerald Isle. The Old Oak distillery, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, was looking for an investor to develop its whiskey…
After studying the file, Van Damme jumped at the chance. He then teamed up with Kevin Carson and Ian Rowlands, founder and shareholder respectively of the Old Oak whisky brand. They were delighted to benefit from the Hollywood actor’s international reputation.
