The Corrs

Famed Irish musician Jim Corr, from the family band The Corrs, caused a stir on social networking sites when he expressed his support for the anti-vaccine movement.
A particularly disparaged stance, which earned him a veritable “Bad Buzz” on Twitter. It all started with a simple tweet from him: https://twitter.com/Jimcorrsays/status/1143456192108421121

What if we really were destined to contract benign childhood illnesses like measles, in order to help our immune systems better fight bigger diseases later in life?”

A sentence that quickly caught the attention of Internet users.

Measles is not benign. You can die from it,” we wrote. Oh, Jim. You can’t say that… You have a responsibility because of your notoriety, so please don’t talk nonsense,” added another.

These responses prompted Jim Corr to persist with further messages: https://twitter.com/Jimcorrsays/status/1143453779825692672

People are beginning to realize that vaccines are a bit like Russian roulette.
We keep hearing that it’s safe (and lucrative)…
So why has the U.S. government just paid out over $4 trillion for the devastation caused by vaccines?

He added: https://twitter.com/Jimcorrsays/status/1144942659523534848

Today, a 4-month-old baby receives more vaccines than a baby boomer does over the course of a lifetime.
Could this increase be behind the shocking rise in autoimmune diseases, Crohn’s disease, childhood cancers, autism and many other once-rare conditions?

This stance naturally came as a shock, and provoked an outpouring of tweets on the web.
Jim Corr then attacked sunscreen, accusing it of being toxic to humans…
A surprisingly strong stance!
Vaccines are extremely important preventive devices.
They provide effective, long-term protection against high-risk diseases.
They are recognized medical devices, which have made it possible to curb diseases that were once fatal.
Unfortunately, however, these vaccines are increasingly being called into question by anti-vaccine movements…
The latter accuse pharmaceutical laboratories of poisoning patients for the benefit of medical lobbies…
These are very clear-cut opinions, in which the pros and the antis are unable to agree…
The proof is in the form of Jim Corr, who unleashed passions on Twitter this week…
