A 700-metre-long double zip line opens this Friday, just in time for the Easter vacations! Called “River Rapid”, the attraction is located in Colin Glen, a forest and adventure park less than 8km from Belfast. It’s here, in a 100% natural setting, that you can travel 700 metres above the void, at a blistering speed of 80 km/h! Sensations guaranteed!
If you’re the adventurous type, then River Rapid is the attraction for you! All you have to do is climb to the top of a take-off tower, 30 meters above ground level, put on a harness and strap, and let yourself be guided by the security team.
Once you’ve been scammed, all you have to do is get started!
And the adrenaline’s pumping, with over 700 metres of track and speeds of up to 80 km/hour. And if you’re not too busy shouting and screaming, you can admire the breathtaking city views over Belfast along the way!
It is now the longest zip line in Ireland. An attraction that should appeal to young and old alike this Easter weekend!
