Ryanair aims to make its flights free within 10 years!

Yes, you read that right: Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary is reported to have spoken in London in recent days about his desire to make his flights free within the next 10 years. An announcement that had a huge impact on the media and the air transport market!

“Our challenge for the future is to continue lowering flight prices.
I have this vision that over the next five to ten years, Ryanair flights will be free, they’ll be full and we’ll be making money from airport revenues. “Ryanair’s CEO is quoted as saying.

It was a bold announcement, which had the merit of shaking up the air transport industry. No one could have imagined that Michael O’Leary would go from low-cost to zero-cost. Never before seen in this sector!

“I do think it’s going to happen, but not at big airports like London Heathrow. We can see that this trend towards lower taxes and charges already exists at many smaller airports seeking to increase their traffic. And I’m already paying you to fly Ryanair: we sell some of our tickets for 5 euros, while paying 15 euros in airport taxes and charges. If these taxes are eliminated, our promotional tickets will be free.”

Admittedly, this announcement may seem “delusional” and rather naive. but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done. According to many experts, Michael O’Leary could indeed achieve his goal, by starting a long battle with each of the airports hosting Ryanair aircraft on their runways. Aware of his attractive economic weight, Michael O’Leary is likely to be calling the shots at the world’s airports in the near future…

This leaves the choice for the airports concerned to go with… or without Ryanair!
