Every St. Patrick’s Day, American Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphy’s come up with inventive ways to celebrate the event. And this year, they’ve decided to perform in Boston… with a live broadcast, accessible to fans all over the world! The concert will be broadcast live and free of charge from the House of Blues in Boston. A real treat for fans of Irish-influenced music and St. Patrick’s Day!
The concert will take place on Thursday, March 17 at 9 p.m. (Boston time), and will feature the band’s classic hits, as well as new material from their current smash album “Turn Up That Dial”.
The concert will be accessible worldwide at www.DKMstream.com. A first for Dropkick Murphy’s, who had never before programmed a concert on this scale!
After two years and four live broadcasts without an audience, we’re so, so excited to be doing our first live broadcast in front of an audience!” said co-singer Ken Casey.
The concert is free of charge. This is a conscious decision on the part of the group, which prefers to invite the public to send donations by SMS, which will be donated to charities supporting vulnerable populations in Boston and Philadelphia.
St. Patrick’s Day 2022 will be unlike any previous event: Dropkick Murphy’s will be celebrating like never before, and Ireland will be reorganizing its festivities, including the Grand Parade in Dublin, which promises to be over the top… One thing’s for sure: Ireland will be in everyone’s hearts on March 17, 2022!
