This is the incredible project launched by Ireland: after the resounding success of the new Star Wars films, the country has decided to commemorate this success by sinking a fake X Wing, at the foot of Skellig Michael, the famous Irish island where some of the scenes with Luke Skywalker were filmed…
It’s a crazy, over-the-top project, designed to attract crowds of people looking for unusual experiences! And it has to be said that the country has pulled out all the stops for this occasion!
Tours of the X-Wing should be scheduled by 2019 to discover the spacecraft underwater. On the program: submarine tours, scuba diving for the more adventurous, and the possibility of visiting the interior!
Add to this a completely off-the-wall Star Wars exhibition, and fans are in for a real treat!
