The album “Jupiter Calling”, released on November 10, marks the comeback of Ireland’s most famous siblings: the Corrs! This is excellent news for fans, who will be able to discover the new tracks composed by Andrea, Caroline, Sharon and Jim.
The first single from this seventh album, “Son of Solomon”, is a gentle, Celtic-Irish-influenced track that should delight early fans! Tin whistle, violin… the band sign here a song at the antipodes of current codes, abandoning their acid pop in favor of a true return to their roots, on the model of their 2005 album “Home”…
As a reminder, the band literally exploded onto the scene back in 1995, scoring a string of hits with the release of their debut album “Forgiven, Not Forgotten”. The Irish band went on to enjoy a string of successes over several years, releasing albums to worldwide acclaim.
Sadly, the band eventually announced their split in 2005, wishing to devote themselves to more personal projects. The Corrs then announced their reformation 10 years later, in 2015, with the album “White Light”, a rather uneven album, which had gone unnoticed, without experiencing the success of previous opuses.
Let’s wish them even greater success this time! A great idea for an Irish gift in the run-up to Christmas!
