January 15, 2022 was a sad day, as it marked the fourth anniversary of the death of Dolores O’Riordan, lead singer of the iconic Irish band The Cranberries. To mark the occasion, the band paid tribute to their friend once again, posting an emotional message on social networks. As a reminder, singer Dolores O’Riordan passed away in London on January 15, 2018, at the age of 46, creating a stir throughout Ireland, but also around the World.

Four years already. Time flies, but the death of the famous Irish singer is still very much alive in the hearts of the Cranberries and their fans. To mark the occasion, the band posted a short message on Twitter in tribute to the late singer:

Dolores O’Riordan joined the Cranberries in 1990, and the band went on to achieve worldwide fame with hits such as Linger, Zombie and Dreams.

The album most emblematic of their success was “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?” in 1993. It ranked No. 1 in Great Britain and Ireland. for many weeks, propelling the band into the ranks of world rock stars!

The band’s next three albums all reached the top 5 in Ireland and the UK.

Dolores O’Riordan then chose to launch a solo career. Her first album was a success, confirming the song-writer’s talent.

His sudden death in 2018 shocked the international music scene. She accidentally drowned in her bathtub while heavily intoxicated. According to the investigators, she had 3.3g of alcohol per liter of blood that day, an excessive consumption that left her unable to get out of the water.

Many artists paid him a powerful tribute. Many consider her one of Ireland’s greatest rock artists. A source of inspiration for many, and a great figure in the composition and writing of committed lyrics!
