The Irish, named Europe’s happiest people!
St James Gate, Dublin

It’s official: the Irish are the happiest people in Europe! A nomination that rewards the warmth, conviviality and extremely friendly nature of the Irish!

It’s a very serious study, published by the Eurobarometer survey, which has revealed that over 97% of Irish people consider themselves to be happy in their lives. A very high average, given that the European average is 83%.

But what makes the Irish so happy?

According to the study, it’s all about values… Fundamental values concerning their vision of life, work, health, happiness, society, family…

The Irish, for example, are reportedly the least angry people in Europe, greeting life’s events with peace and detachment. They are also 75% to testify to their deep conviction that the people of the island of Ireland are reliable, trustworthy people.

A figure that reinforces the idea of safety in Ireland… and therefore well-being.

Among other fundamental values, the Irish are convinced of the importance of work! The latter are very committed to this field, and fully convinced of the need to give it their all, while remaining ethical and fair to others.

The Irish also seem concerned by the beauty of their country and seem very attached to their culture, to the preservation of natural and wild spaces…etc.

For them, partying is also very important: it’s essential to get together and enjoy events!

All in all, a great taste of the “Irish spirit”!
