August weather in Dublin

Dublin has rather pleasant temperatures in August. The city even has the hottest temperatures of the year. Mind you, you won’t necessarily have 35°C, but you can easily reach 19°C (some years have had 28-30°C, but that’s exceptional). In short, a trip to Dublin in August makes perfect sense. This is one of the best seasons to visit!

What’s the weather like in Dublin in August?

Summer temperatures ideal for travel!

If you’ve got your eye on Dublin this summer, August is the perfect month for a visit to the city. This is the most beautiful and warmest month of the year: with a bit of luck, you’ll even be able to go swimming nearby! (Yes, even at 19°C, the beaches are crowded at this time of year!)

Once again, don’t forget that Ireland is still Ireland. It can do all 4 seasons in a single day. So don’t just think in terms of T-shirts and shorts: pack pants, a sweatshirt and something to wear in case of rain.

Generally, showers are short-lived at this time of year, followed by a period of sunshine.
