Feedback and Hype subscribers, Visa presale, general sale: access is staggered, while Irish dates remain unknown.

For U2 fans, the countdown is gathering pace. After the announcements and the dates to compare, it is time to choose a city and prepare for ticket access. The first European presales for The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour begin on 2 November 2026. But the opening is not available to everyone at once: the band distinguishes between several subscriber categories and sales channels. And for those dreaming of a concert in Bono’s home country, Ireland remains a promise for now, with no date available to book.

U2 presales begin for subscribers

Feedback and The Hype do not go on sale on the same day

According to the official announcement published on 29 October, the Feedback group gets first access to presales, followed by The Hype. Subscribers should receive their personal code by email. New subscribers join The Hype, so taking out a subscription does not automatically grant access to the first wave.

This staggered access is worth understanding before paying for a subscription solely in the hope of booking. Check your category in your account and the instructions you have received. Access to a presale is not a ticket: the final choice will depend on the seats available when you log in.

A week of ticket sales in several stages

General sale remains separate from early access

After subscribers, a Visa presale and an artist presale are planned before the general sale. The practical timetable is set out separately below. Advance registration for the artist presale has now closed; this past deadline should not be confused with the later opening of ticket sales.

For each concert, start with the official U2 tour schedule, then follow the link to the relevant ticketing platform. Organisers have announced several platforms depending on the destination. On Ticketmaster, artist access is linked to the account, while other sites may use a code.

Choosing a concert also means choosing a trip

European dates, but no Irish booking yet

The announced European tour is due to visit Stockholm, Paris, Lisbon, Amsterdam, London, Berlin and Milan, with Wolf Alice as the support act. For French readers, these destinations offer different ways to see the band: a concert close to home or the starting point for a getaway.

Before choosing, compare the whole trip: access to the stadium, the return journey after the show and accommodation. Also check the currency and the terms shown in the booking summary. This article does not present any ticket price or availability as guaranteed: only the information displayed on the ticketing platform at the time of purchase can inform your decision.

And U2’s return to Ireland?

A home-country finale announced as part of the band’s plans

The Edge says the tour will end in Ireland, in a statement referring to plans for 2028. At the time of checking, however, the official website provides neither a date nor a venue nor Irish ticket sales. The European presales now beginning therefore do not represent tickets going on sale for concerts in Dublin.

Our article on U2’s world tour and its return to Ireland puts this wait in the context of the wider project. To plan a trip to the island around the band, wait for an official date before committing to non-refundable transport or accommodation.

Prepare your access without confusing the times

Refer to the concert city

The announced times are in the local time of each destination. From France, do not automatically convert the time shown for London to that of a concert in Paris: open the page for your chosen date and check the countdown specific to that sale.

Prepare your login details, find the email containing your access information and check that you are using the right account. Then keep the booking summary and purchase terms. The first stage of the concert takes place in front of a screen; it deserves as much attention as the journey that will take you to the stadium.
