Ardrahan

Ardrahan is a small, peaceful village in County Galway, known throughout Ireland for its inimitable cheesemaking expertise. It is, in fact, here that “Ardrahan” is produced, a farmhouse cheese made from cow’s milk using traditional techniques. Sold throughout the country, it is a source of great pride for the local residents!

Rather peaceful, the village lives to the rhythm of agriculture, its main source of income. Among the things to see, do not miss Drumharsna Castle, a charming ruined castle, or Tullira Castle, a magnificent private castle!
