New Ross

New Ross (Ros Mhic Triúin in Irish Gaelic) is a small port town in County Wexford, Republic of Ireland. Situated on the Hook Head Peninsula by the sea, it is best known for its medieval origins. The Hook Lighthouse, still in use today, dates back to the 13th century.
