Travelers rest assured! While the weather is currently rainy, with cooler temperatures, a new heat wave could well hit Ireland in the next few days… And it could start as early as next Thursday!
It’s a bit of a rollercoaster in Ireland at the moment! While the island was hit by a major heatwave (like the rest of Europe) the previous week, the current weekend was rather cold and rainy.
The death knell for summer?
Not at all! Travelers rest assured: this slight chill will soon give way to more than pleasant summer weather!
According to the Irish weather service Met Eireann, what’s to come next looks particularly good, with the sun back in full force and temperatures that will make you want to lounge on Irish beaches!
But before the hot weather sets in, we can expect a few particularly wet days, with heavy rain in many parts of the country… and temperatures not exceeding 20-21 degrees depending on the zone, with the most pleasant conditions in the south of the country.
From Thursday onwards, fine weather is set to return, with sunny days and average temperatures of 24°C… Conditions set to continue until the end of the week!
Current indications suggest that the high-pressure system will continue to develop slowly from Thursday onwards, leading to mainly dry and stabilized conditions.
So you can enjoy… And experience an Irish August that’s absolutely perfect for a vacation!
