Visit Ballyseedy Woods

A forest for the whole family!

Ballyseedy Woods has a number of easy walking trails. These trails take you on a 4km walking loop through the woods, with plenty of opportunities to stop and admire the surroundings.

Add to this the fact that the forest is distinguished from other forests by a special feature of its own: it has many wooden sculptures!

These sculptures will reveal strange creatures, individuals sitting on a bench… and so on. These works are pretty cool and bring a 100% Celtic charm to the forest, where fairies and leprechauns are sure to play a few tricks on their visitors!

Finally, don’t miss the ruins of an ancient manor house once built right in the heart of the forest! Still massive, it stands half upright between the trees, covered in moss. His show is serious and magnificent!
