Cork City Hall is a building used as Cork’s town hall. Imposing with its neo-classical architecture, it houses the civil servants in charge of administering the city. Although closed to visitors, it is one of Cork’s most emblematic buildings!

A symbol of Cork’s administration

The town hall is located on George’s Quay. It houses Cork City Council, as well as a concert hall, where all the city’s major musical and cultural events take place.

Founded in 1936, it was designed by architects Jones and Kelly. Admire the 6 Tuscan columns, the tower and clock, and the green copper dome.

The sight of the monument at night, when the building is illuminated, is actually quite nice.
