Why not discover Ireland’s underground galleries? Crag Cave is one of the fascinating tourist caves open to the public. Ranked as one of the most beautiful limestone caves in the country, Crag Cave offers a real journey back in time, and will fascinate lovers of history and geology… A fun way to discover, or rediscover, the origins of the Earth…

Visit the Crag Cave

An unsuspected underground world!

If you’re looking for a family outing, then a visit to the Crag Cave is just the thing for young and old alike! You’ll be captivated by the grandiose beauty of its stalactites, stalagmites and rock formations, once hollowed out by water…

The cave essentially consists of a limestone outcrop that rapidly sinks into the depths of the earth, through several kilometers of galleries.

The guided tour allows you to visit the largest sections of the cave, and learn more about its formation. Equipped with a helmet, you’ll learn all about caving and the secrets of the bowels of the Earth.

Please note that it is forbidden to visit the galleries: some of them are too narrow for a man to pass through!
