Glencar Waterfall is a pretty Irish waterfall in County Leitrim, close to Glencar Lough (a pretty nice lake). Set in a wild and wooded environment, the waterfall is a little green paradise that should delight nature lovers!
Glencar Falls is 11km west of the town of Manorhamilton. It is one of the most impressive waterfalls in County Leitrim, especially after a few showers!
This is where the waterfall discharges its overflow, and the flow can increase in bad weather. The view of the waterfall is remarkable! You can get there via a small wooded path: the walk is superb, as bucolic as you could wish. Don’t hesitate to picnic on site to extend the moment! The area around the waterfall has a number of picnic tables and a practical information kiosk.
