Visit Glenevin Waterfall

A 12-metre-high waterfall!

To get there, follow the signposted path from The Glen House gardens. It takes you along a pretty stream to the Glenevin waterfall. Along the way, you’ll find several picnic areas and vantage points offering breathtaking views of the coast and surrounding countryside.

Allow 20 minutes to get there in complete peace and quiet.

At the end of the promenade is the spectacular Glenevin Waterfall, over 12 metres high. A show not to be missed!

Swimming is permitted: the water is cool but incredibly pure. The waterfall has a sort of natural pool below, perfect for taking a dip and enjoying the surroundings.

It’s a very pleasant spot, especially in summer, where you can picnic and take a siesta in the surrounding area, with the lapping of the water as the only sound.

Where to park?

Two parking lots available

There is a main parking lot at the start of the trail, which can accommodate a large number of cars. Access is via a gate from the main road, which is open at certain times.

An overflow parking lot has been set up on the other side of the road, around 50 meters towards Clonmany. You then have to cross a busy road to reach the trailhead.
