When Irish nature meets the ocean...

Do you love magnificent landscapes, the sea, mountains and pretty beaches? We’ve got just what you’re looking for: this exceptional place goes by the sweet name of “Melmore Head”. It’s a “headland” of land, jutting out into the sea in grandiose panoramas. The beach promises a lovely stroll, the surrounding mountains a fabulous show, and a cave called Murder Hole can even be discovered during your exploration!

Visit Melmore Head

A place sheltered from the rest of the world…

Melmore Head has the advantage of being a little-known corner of Ireland… Situated in County Donegal, it has a wild air, a fine sandy beach and the changing color of the surrounding mountains at sunrise and sunset…

Melmore Head is the perfect place to recharge your batteries and immerse yourself in the heart of nature!

Don’t hesitate to take a stroll! The best way is to walk along the beach, and land at the entrance to a strange grotto, whose entrance is shaped like a point carved out of the rock… The walk is well worth the detour, and offers a real escape from civilization!

Best explored early in the morning, or at the end of the day: that’s when the view is at its best!

For campers and caravanners, there’s a campsite just a few kilometers south of the site: a great way to extend your stay!
