A complete museum combining art, music and cinema!

Le Le Model. Home of The Niland Collection is more than just a museum: it also houses several exhibition spaces, a cinema, a concert hall and 8 artists’ studios.

The museum is housed in a former Sligo schoolhouse, and features the Niland Collection, an impressive permanent collection of 300 works by renowned artists such as Paul Henry, Louis le Brocquy, George Russell and Jack Butler Yeats (brother of Sligo writer William Butler Yeats). But the museum also offers temporary art and music exhibitions.

Here, everything is a pretext for cultural openness, and you’ll come across works signed by greats like Andy Warhol, listen to classical and contemporary musicians, or push open the door of its cinema to attend a screening of an auteur film. In short, art here is comprehensive and eclectic. A must-see if you’re passionate about cultural expression in all its forms!
