The Wishing Stone is an Irish monument, located on the Killiney Hill side of Killiney Hill. The monument resembles a small Inca pyramid, overlooking the Irish coast. Don’t hesitate to climb it: the view is superb!

Visit the Wishing Stone

A pyramid to admire the wild Irish coast!

The Wishing Stone can be reached on foot by climbing the pretty Killiney hill. The difference in altitude is quite reasonable, and the walk is accessible to the whole family!

Once you’ve arrived, you won’t be able to miss the monument: it’s 2 to 3 metres high, and looks like a tiered pyramid, worthy of the Incas!

Local tradition has it that this is a good place to make wishes! The view and the tranquility of the site make it an ideal place to get away from it all and reflect!
