Visit the Uragh Stone Circle

The stones of the Uragh Stone Circle stand in an absolutely grandiose setting. There are 5 of them, the tallest reaching 3 metres. The stones describe a circle 2.4 meters in diameter, one of which is slightly off-center.

The spectacle they offer is magnificent, as if suspended in time.

Access is free and the site is very well preserved. Many mysteries remain as to the meaning and use of this stone circle. However, many archaeologists agree that these remains were used for ceremonial and ritual practices.
