Black pudding: an Irish company creates a vegan alternative
Du black et du white pudding

Although the Irish are very attached to eating their black pudding every morning for breakfast, it would seem that they are not closed to a vegan-oriented offer.

That’s why Clonakilty Foods, Ireland’s leading producer of black and white pudding, has just announced the launch of a Vegan Pudding. In short, an original alternative to the traditional black pudding and white pudding eaten by thousands of Irish people every morning.

This vegan option is made with oats, onions, black beans, carrots and spices. A dish that promises great taste, and above all a meat-free, preservative-free, gluten-free alternative that should appeal to the most demanding palates. However, this new product would have the same texture as traditional puddings, and almost the same taste.

We’re delighted that our range continues to satisfy the tastes of the whole family. We’re confident that our new vegetable pudding matches the quality and taste that Clonakilty’s most loyal customers know and love. said Clonakilty Foods Managing Director Colette Twomey.

The vegan trend is therefore increasingly at the heart of Irish people’s concerns. Many say they are ready to change their diet in favor of the environment. The awakening of ecological awareness is in full swing: a very good thing for Ireland and the planet!
