Irish band Celtic Woman is about to embark on a North American tour to celebrate its 20th anniversary. It kicks off in February 2024 and runs through to May, showcasing their unique blend of traditional and contemporary Irish music, reflecting Ireland’s rich musical heritage. Since their debut two decades ago, Celtic Woman have become a worldwide phenomenon, acclaimed for their emotionally charged performances!
In Ireland, Celtic Woman is one of the island’s most famous bands! His fame has even spread beyond Ireland’s borders, winning the hearts of thousands of fans all over the world.
All-female, the group includes sopranos Mairéad Carlin, Muirgen O’Mahony, Irish fiddle and harp expert Tara McNeill, and the versatile Emma Warren, who has appeared in productions such as “Riverdance” and “Les Misérables”.
Recording 20 years of career, the band took the opportunity to organize an event tour in the United States. Tickets, already available, seem to be selling like hotcakes!
But just before leaving for the New World, Celtic Woman is also planning to blow out its candles at Dublin’s Helix Theatre, with a unique concert dubbed the “Celtic Woman 20th Anniversary Special”, revisiting its greatest musical classics!
On this occasion, PBS will broadcast the concert live. This special concert will take fans on a nostalgic journey back to the early days of the band.
In addition, a new album and DVD entitled “20th Anniversary” will be released in January 2024, featuring new compositions, arrangements and fan favourites.
