Connemara lights up for St. Patrick’s Day!
Le Connemara va accueillir un show de lumière pour la Saint Patrick

St. Patrick’s Day is less than a month away, and Ireland has come up with a new way to celebrate the holiday with impressive means! The Finnish artist Kai Kola has been commissioned to illuminate Connemara with artificial lights.

You’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of Ireland’s wide open spaces, enhanced by the presence of light displays! A chance to discover the famous Connemara region, so dear to Michel Sardou, with its lakes, mountains, valleys, forests and red moorland, from an angle never seen before!

The event promises to be grandiose: Kari Kola intends to sublimate this already grandiose landscape.

We’re going to close off 45 km of road, so that the public can enjoy these 500 hectares in the spotlight. It will be the largest installation ever created. I’ve traveled to 70 countries, but Connemara is one of the most beautiful places to stage. The idea is to see 30 minutes of a show and remember it for 15 years. the artist told Le Parisien

In other words, the show will be worth the trip! The artist promises a total rediscovery of the Irish region, playing with colors, rhythms and light changes.

Don’t hesitate to book your hotel on the date of St. Patrick’s Day in Connemara: the show is sure to draw a big crowd! A great way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland, while connecting with nature and the beauty of Ireland’s great outdoors!
