The official FAQ states that the parade will start at Granby Row, then travel along O’Connell Street and across O’Connell Bridge, before finishing at the Cuffe Street/Kevin Street junction. Check the map and guidance for the 2027 edition before setting off: this summary does not cover every street.

There is no single ideal spot for everyone. Choose an area that is easy to reach from your accommodation, and think about your journey back. Avoid planning to cross the route while the parade is under way: barriers and on-site instructions take precedence over your usual route.
Arrive early, but do not assume that a particular time will guarantee a front-row spot. If you are with children, prioritise visibility and the ability to leave easily. Do not climb on street furniture to gain a few centimetres: the spectacle is not worth a sprained ankle.

For accessibility, the organiser says that applications for wheelchair spaces and the Relaxed Parade Space will open in mid-January 2027. Check the conditions and access arrangements before relying on a reserved space.
