Synopsys

Ireland, 1981. Cáit is a 13-year-old girl, discreet, self-effacing and neglected by her family. For one summer, she was sent to live with distant relatives on an isolated farm in Ireland. There, she found joie de vivre, fulfillment and affection.

Her host family, Seán, Colm and their daughter Bridie, are welcoming and caring. Aisling begins to relax and open up to others. She befriends Bridie and begins to discover the beauty of the Irish countryside.

But in this seemingly secretive house, Cáit is about to discover a painful truth…

The cast

The film stars Catherine Clinch as Aisling, Carrie Crowley as Eibhlin and Andrew Bennett as Seán Cinnsealach. All Irish, these actors shine through their performances.
