Le Boozy Irish Cocktail

An ostentatious, ultra-sweet cocktail, usually consumed at Easter!

A taste of the Boozy Irish Cocktail

A sweet cocktail to celebrate Easter

Let’s face it: the Boozy Irish Cocktail is a cocktail for gourmands who aren’t afraid of rich, ultra-sweet combinations.

For the record, this cocktail follows an old Irish tradition. In those days, Easter was eminently respected by the Irish (and still is today). It was therefore customary to observe Lent, and avoid all alcohol and food. This difficult fast was to be broken by good food… and a good drink to congratulate ourselves on our efforts!

The result is Boozy Irish Cocktail, a modern take on an old tradition… with a twist!

Composition

This not-so-traditional cocktail may be a bit far-fetched… But it’s still made up of some big Irish favourites.

It’s made with Bailey’s Irish Cream, vodka, milk and Nutella. The result should be creamy, smooth and homogeneous. Traditionally, a mini chocolate Easter egg ( Cadbury brand) is placed at the bottom of the cocktail in a cocktail glass… It’s enough to push the surprise to the limit!
